Advising Emphasis as Spring Quarter Dawns

March 30, 2015

Olivet Theological College and Seminary announces the update of its academic advising system starting immediately and just in time for the 2015 Spring Quarter registration.

The latest improvements of OTCS’ advising system are aimed to assist students by employing faculty members exclusively to the task and letting them work alongside each student ideally from the first day of enrollment until graduation. Continuity, trust, and providing a mentor-friend alongside each student has been an ongoing goal for OTCS’ advising team.

Advisers assist students in planning their courses and serve as a reliable guide in interpreting the curriculum and each quarter’s course offerings in the light of each students personal goals and ambitions as well as God’s calling in their lives. Collaborative work is the key to always selecting not only the courses allowing the students to graduate in time, but also generate the greatest impact on their readiness for ministry and witness in the world to the network generation and beyond.
