Olivet Business School, OBS, will be offering its Business Communication course for the coming Fall quarter. This course is designed for undergraduate students and is now open for registration.
Dr. Yvette L. Smith will teach the course as students are expected to obtain communication skills in many aspects such as oral, written, interpersonal, technological, and job interviews.
This course will focus on providing professional skills on making proposals, delivering presentations, scheduling in-person meetings and email writings in business fields. Students are expected to work and practice in teams so they can communicate more efficiently.
Dr. Smith has years of teaching experience in communication and management training with 15 years of working experience in world-class companies. She has been an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, School of Business since 2007. Dr. Smith teaches undergraduate and graduate level course that combine theory and real-world practical experience, which prepare students for professional careers in a broad range of business fields. Her career spans in all areas of the Human Resource discipline.
