OSEA Design Lab Explores Future University Building Concepts in 3D

November 28, 2017

Faculty, students, and designers engaged in an open seminar to explore their takes for the University’s future construction developments. Potential concepts for Olivet University’s campuses were discussed and ideas were fleshed out into initial 3D models. Participants had the opportunity to present their work on potential future campus buildings and interior layouts for critique and discussion.

The process in the design lab collectively brought together designers to construct an initial idea into visual representations. In this series, the work presented came in the form of 3D renderings developed using CAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop. Designs were discussed with helpful critiques as students engaged with other designers on creative approach and technique.

The design lab encourages participation from all design disciplines and provides an open forum to explore and share ideas in relation to architecture and design.
