D.Min. Program's Ministry Tracks Celebrate More Successful Oral Defenses

Over 10 Doctoral of Ministry (D.Min.) candidates at the Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies (ZSDS) recently passed the oral defenses of their D.Min. final papers. The ministry tracks celebrate their success and the hard work of their mentor faculty.

In the presence of their mentors, the candidates' oral defenses were reviewed by the Doctoral Committee, who asked questions and offered suggestions for the completion of the candidates' dissertations. There were multiple fascinating topics to be covered as D.Min. candidates made a presentation based on their unique ministerial experiences and cultural backgrounds.

For instance, in the Education Track, Jana Rebrova presented her research on Czech and Slovak Evangelicalism from the vantage point of the missionary. Aria Reppert covered her research on spiritual training for worship leaders and worship teams from the Church Worship and Music Track. In the Business as Mission Track, Yanping Zhang made a presentation in relation to a tentmaking training program for missionaries.

"By the grace of God, the track system has been set up successfully. I believe the outcome can enormously contribute to the kingdom of God. It is anticipated there will be many high-quality papers coming out this month," commented Director of Doctor of Ministry Program Dr. Tom Cowley.

ZSDS holds oral defenses, offering D.Min. candidates an opportunity to present and review their thesis projects. Candidates who pass the oral defense and graduation requirements will join the commencement in June later this year.
