Academic Impact

Exceptional Educational Experience

Olivet University's planned degree programs in New York will fill an academic niche unlike any institution in New York. From inception, Olivet University in New York has sought to attune itself to the educational needs of the Dover-based World Olivet Assembly, which have expanded beyond the capacity of our current courses offerings. Our chartering effort remains true to that intent.

Olivet University is dedicated to training ministry-bound men and women as Biblical scholars and leaders and to equipping them with practical skills to effectively carry out their mission. As a New York chartered institution, we will carry out our mission with full degree programs that develop leaders and scholars for vocational ministry service with the World Olivet Assembly and affiliated ministries -- an exceptional educational experience unique to Olivet University in New York.

Planned Academics

Olivet University’s programs would occupy a unique niche in New York State’s array of higher education opportunities due to their dual focus of providing students with a core of Biblical and theological knowledge based on the tenets of the World Olivet Assembly, a strong commitment to humanities, arts, and sciences and solid understanding of the theories and practices in the various appropriate disciplines.

We would offer the following programs -- all of them contain core of Bible and theology learning: A Master of Divinity in Theology (M.Div.) in Theology, a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration (M.B.A.), a Master of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education/Childhood (M.A.T.), a Master of Science(M.S.) in Information Technology, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Theology, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering.

Direct P-12 Pipeline from Olivet Academy

In 2016, Olivet University established Olivet Academy as a P-12 Christian school for children for children and families related to Olivet University and the World Olivet Assembly. Together, these educational communities cover a 3,000-acre footprint in New York State.

Four years after opening, Olivet Academy is ready to serve as a direct and continuous pipeline for college-ready students into the planned degree programs at Olivet University in New York. The Academy is flourishing at the former Kildonan School in Amenia, New York and in Lower Manhattan with a college-ready community -- the first college-aged students from Olivet Academy, who demonstrate exceptional student outcomes, and a desire for our local, niche programs proposed in New York State.
