Representatives from Olivet University gathered in Schloss Mittersill, Austria to attend the Global Strategic Forum (GSF) 2022 Symposium. The event brought together global Christian leaders to form a think tank that would produce strategies for influence within the 12 mountains of culture. Experts in the fields of Art, Business, Media, Family, Sports, Military, Migration, Technology, Government, and several others were invited to speak, share, and strategize on new ways to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
The event was a follow-up to the previous Global Strategy Forum (GSF) gathering in Houston, Texas. The latest symposium in Austria invited a larger number of participants and expanded upon its event program from the previous gathering. The conference was an interactive experience where participants did not just listen to experts on the platform. GSF included GEM Talks with panel discussions, small group breakouts, and audience app engagement during Action Forum presentations.
Founded by Dr. William Wagner, former Olivet University President, and Vice Chair Dr. John Langlois, a member of the International Council of World Evangelical Alliance, the GSF seeks to develop a global vision of how to make dimples of this and future generations.
During the closing remarks, WEA Secretary General Bishop Dr. Thomas Schirrmacher, recognized Dr. Wagner for his lifetime of service and founding of the GSF, serving as an important groundwork for future leaders to build upon. The event also announced the appointment of Rev. Timo Plutschinski, Business Coalition of the World Evangelical Alliance, as the new Director for the Global Strategic Forum.
