Olivet Language School Welcomes New Online ESL Instructor

May 04, 2021

Olivet School of Language and Education (OSLE) welcomes a new online ESL instructor Miss Lisa Lin for the 2021 Spring Quarter 2021. Her decade-long experience in teaching online language classes will greatly contribute to the expansion of the school's online ESL program.

Lin received a degree in English Education from Harbin Normal University in China. She then became an ESL teacher at a language school in Beijing. She taught classes of all ages, including children, teenagers and adults. After she came to the United States to pursue graduate studies, she continued teaching her students in China online. As a creative and dynamic educator, she has developed many teaching tools to tailor the needs of distance English learning.

Since the pandemic has affected onsite study, OSLE has expanded its online ESL program to International students. With Ms. Lin joining the faculty team, OSLE will produce learning videos, assignments, and tests exclusively for the online ESL program. Lin will also offer one-on-one tutoring and weekly live chat to support online students.

OSLE strives to improve the quality of its online ESL program. The school is also looking into partnering with more online instructors to offer courses to students from many different countries.
