Enhancement in D.Min Track System Provides Support for Students to Complete Research

The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) students from the Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies (ZSDS) recently have made progress in completing their final project according to the ministry tracks they had selected.

Several students in the track of education/bible study workbooks, church planting, and IT ministry have completed their foundation papers. These will be important components as they make further progress towards completing their D.Min. project and dissertation. Students in other tracks such as music, family, or spiritual formation have been assigned mentors in each respective field and are working closely with them to complete their project proposal.

The ten ministry tracks opened the gates for different field studies where each track is led by a track leader with extensive experience in the area. After completing four core courses and writing a "Spiritual Autobiography," students will proceed with the 4-Phase study to complete their D.Min. program.

In Phase 1, students will join a study track and initiate work with their assigned mentor and peer group. In Phase 2, they work on module lectures and research. Then in Phase 3, students complete their D.Min. project proposal before conducting the project in Phase 4. Conclusively, candidates will write a final paper and summarize their findings.

Additionally, ZSDS has regularly meetings to assist ministry track leaders in guiding the D.Min candidates toward the completion of their projects . The school believes the ministry track system will provide additional resources to assist students' progress towards completing the program.
